Delhi the capital of India is a very fascinating place which is full of culture and diversity. It attracts people from all over the world. The city has a charm and it incorporates all of India inside it from its rags to the riches. Delhi has a very rich heritage which makes it a perfect tourist place with lots of  perfectly carved monuments which dive deep into the history of the place. Some of the great historical landmarks include the Red Fort which was commissioned to be built by Shah Jahan on 12th May, 1639. On 15th August, 1947, the first prime minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru hoisted the Indian flag in the red fort. Every year on independence day, flag hosting is done by the prime minister at the main gate and a speech is delivered by him. Next we have Qutub Minar which was commissioned by Qutb-ud-din Aibak, the founder of Delhi sultanate in 1192.
